Our Dental Technology
CEREC / Same-Day Crowns
Thanks to advances in dental technology, dental prostheses can be completed in a single visit using CAD/CAM technology known as CEREC. CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics and can be used to simplify dental procedures like dental crowns, dental implants, and dental bridges. Crowns and bridges created with CEREC technology are just as durable as those created in a dental lab and eliminate the need to return for a second visit weeks later.
Intraoral Scanning
Intraoral Scanning allows us to zoom in on small diseased areas, cracks, chips, and worn metal fillings to provide a more detailed view. The full-color images are sent to a computer screen, making it easy to see and diagnose dental problems much earlier than with traditional dental technology. Patients are also able to watch the whole process because the images are displayed on screens in treatment rooms.
3D Printing
With in-office 3D Printing technology, our dental team can produce 3D models to help you better understand your dental needs. 3D Printing can also be used to create models for use in dental crowns & bridges, clear aligners, and dentures.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
CBCT Scans provide an anatomically correct view of your jaws, teeth, and facial bones that are undistorted and much more accurate than traditional 2D X-Rays. This 3D view provides your dentist a level of accuracy and patient care that would not be available otherwise.
